However, how do staged perp walks continue to be tolerated by the courts. It appears that the government is clearly violating the due process rights of the defendant. It also appears to be something mostly reserved for ordinary civilians and not current or former government employees accused of crimes.

A spectacle appears to erode the solemn and dignified image the judiciary otherwise seems to want to present to the public. More importantly, it seems to violate Constitutional protections.
