What about Classical liberalism do you specifically disagree?

It's brought us this far but it lacks the ability to tackle climate change and insure a proper welfare state.

I understand how a welfare state stands in opposition to Classical liberalism. However, Ai will eventually make your welfare state inevitable with basic universal income. For the time being, though, a welfare state is counterproductive. 
How do you view Classical liberalism as being in opposition to the environment?
