Re: V2 gas costs Fluctuating gas costs aren't something we can control. Base is a busy Blockchain. A memecoin launches and the network experiences a gas spike. However, whatever is within our control, we will work on. We can save gas on AF claims by moving the process of calculating the rewards offchain. But I don't think there are many other optimisations out there. So don't expect any other things (sub, unsub, stake) to come down any time soon! I do trust the @base team will work towards reducing overall Blockchain congestion! From our side, we will continue to search for other optimizations to pass on to you.

This is what I said to vijay , but I havenโ€™t received a response yet, so Iโ€™m asking here. Did you see the post or comment I made on Warpcast? I mentioned that there would be no subscription gas fees until Monday, but in reality, there were gas fees, and I attached a screenshot as proof. Also, while 1 Spark is worth less than 1 Degen, isnโ€™t it a bit much for a single claim to cost $3โ€“$4? Today, I noticed that the estimated gas fees and the actual gas fees being spent are different. I did 1 claim, 1 subscription, and 1 staking today, and a total of 2,000 Spark was spent on gas fees, which is equivalent to about $8. Please respond to this

Can you share the screenshot of where you paid for a subscription? As far as I can tell, the subscription gas fees are not live yet! Regarding the other gas costs, I'm sorry that you submitted the transaction during a gas spike, but as mentioned Blockchain gas price is outside of our control. Regarding $AF claims, we've found a path to reduce the gas and will work on this

The estimated gas fee shown on the screen is different from the actual amount spent, so itโ€™s difficult to accurately predict the real gas fees. If this is an error, please correct it.

Here are the attached materials. Iโ€™m curiousโ€”since moving from V1 to V2, the gas fees seem to have increased. Base gas fees are still low, so why is there a difference? https://warpcast.com/qqsksk12/0x07b03fe2
