What crime is naming government employees.

DOGE is not part of the government. It would take congress to make it that. They are basically private contractors.

true it's not under freedom of info act yet but it might be soon. still, listing names of government consultants isn't illegal afaik

Actually the govt generallu lists names of contractors, when a contract is awarded via FFATA. 

Either way they are govt employees or contractors or they are breaking the law. Theirs no in between here.
