it’s messy, frequently unintelligible, campy and unintentionally funny at times but I walked away from megalopolis glad that i saw it and glad that it exists. adam driver probably saves it, can’t imagine anyone else pulling that character off. i hate the way these all cgi soundstage movies look, i never feel immersed. jon voight was funny. the kind of movie an earnest, precocious USC film student might make if they had the budget. accelerationist, randian, most people i talked to at the theater hated it.

I think it’s worth watching fwiw. is it ‘good?’ hard to say but I came away from it with a good feeling. 

I haven’t checked nook out but will!
