So far most of the major Farcaster incubated success stories, the things that have reached escape velocity (degen, higher, clanker etc) have been grassroots.

Yeah actually agree with that. Farcaster doesn’t have the distribution  at this point

degen arrived with a whimper. nobody on Twitter was talking about it. Was under 1m market cap for days, maybe weeks. Eventually people on Twitter picked up on it but it was a slog

At least these last big launches have been roided out after hitting on twitter, I can’t recall much about how degen or the earlier stuff was received on Twitter back then
