🔥 Today, the MATIC token on the Polygon network will be replaced by POL. 

The latter will be used for paying transaction fees and staking, with tokenomics similar to MATIC, including a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens.

✔️ MATIC holders in the Polygon PoS network don’t need to take any action: the token will be updated automatically. However, Ethereum network digital asset holders will need to exchange their token on the Polygon Portal platform.
