The real issue isn't whether we should focus on Ethereum L1 or L2; it's the lack of significant breakthroughs in applications this cycle. Instead of debating the priority between L1 and L2, we should concentrate on groundbreaking innovations in crypto applications. Especially, L1 and L2 foundations should stop wasting money and instead focus resources on developers with innovative capabilities. This is the only way to break through the current impasse.
 
As an aside, Vitalik should transition from being a technical roadmap thinker and leader to becoming a promoter of crypto developers, rather than a price hype man (which is essentially useless).
