Crypto's greatest contributions to humanity: 
1) Adding an overwhelming body of evidence to the millennia old universal truth: money is the root of all evil
[...]
2) Digital store-of-value commodity as an alternative to Gold
3) Stablecoins that make USD more accessible in countries with high inflation + it's restricted

Money is not the root of all evil, greediness is.

And greediness is pretty straightfoward - you decide that money* is more important than everything else: health, reputation, other people and so on. 

*or other resources like status, land, or food.

Crypto has provided a tool for these people to "go after it" and reveal their hierarchy of values.

IMO a useful takeaway from this weird and often harmful crypto experiment is how financial incentives can override people's moral compass, and awaken the greed they haven't even been aware of. 

That being said, it's good to remember who stayed on the right path despite the seductive whispers of greediness.
