Is there a helper for automating the harness boilerplate for testing internal functions with Foundry? https://book.getfoundry.sh/tutorials/best-practices#internal-functions

I used observablehq.com/plot for charting and playwright.dev for the images.

It's a simplified backtester that works with any combination of assets and weights -- right now, it looks at Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Since I'm already collecting price data for a larger number of assets, it's easy to add more interesting portfolios as I come up with them:

There are similar projects out there including Index Coop and Alongside. But most teams with on-chain offerings run into cost issues trying to maintain index token price with portfolio NAV. I'm building in the space as well and am happy to chat if you're curious.

If you run forge test -vv with console.log statements in the hook contract, you'll see that the second order is never executed due to how the tick values are set in the for loop.

I had the same issue and was able to resolve it by returning (true, tick) instead of (true, currentTick) in the if/else blocks from tryExecutingOrders in TakeProfitsHook.sol

Looking forward to building together. I’m pretty new to web3 and made the transition to work on an idea. My web2 background is in engineering across the stack and management. I’m open to meeting up if you’re in Tokyo, and I’ll be in NYC in a couple months as well.
