Not sure about other countries either but in nordics before the merge we paid $60 per year for it. When they merged they said you keep it forever. Now they changed the price and if you wanna keep the previous offer they limit you to 720p Absolute dog shit customer service.

Oh yes they even put you on their new agreement automatically which was double the price and made you opt out and into your lifetime sub price. I cancelled it immediately and if The last of us won’t finish before renewal I look at the high sea 🏴☠️
