Who ultimately gains from the market efficiency properties of MEV? (arbs/liquidations) It seems like individuals for the most part lose no matter what but in general its in service of building a more robust and liquid system

in the game of MEV, it seems like a constant cat and mouse, is there any times in history when these types of games just end and everyone goes home? Or is the market for alpha just constantly evolving and constantly being fulfilled by the next group of seekers

I wonder how sophisticated the prediction market traders are, feels like they either... stream real-time high-signal data to consistently extract and calculate exact probabilities to trade on or they are all copy bots following each other which creates micro market bubbles

L2s are not extracting value from ETH, txn supply is just substantially greater than demand. its the call before the storm. The extra supply will let the developers and users mess around use cases till they find one that hits. Then scale limited again.

so CeFi-DeFi arbitrage for capital-rich whales with access to the vast ocean of information, while the rest of us minnows scramble over the limited pool of on-chain transactions @Alextoberoff @0xsurajs https://frontier.tech/a-tale-of-two-arbitrages

so the multi-proposer architecture could change the way intents are handled but it does not seem to remove them entirely, @MaxResnick1 any thoughts on this... 👇🏻

Imagine the intent centered projects that just got funding and now have to watch their VC's mev bros talk about overhauling the whole protocol to take out pre-confs

Will enterprises "launch L2s"? It feels obvious that @base aligns to Coinbases core business model, but does that extend? I see platforms adopting them to offer a more reliable ecosystem solution for their partners, but besides that, like what would @Starbucks do with an L2...

L2 MEV is a prime design space to test txn ordering... private mempools, full builder control, UX as the goal, reduced overall risk rollups should be testing new designs like all the DEXs did when bots came for them TEE, intents, Mev Taxes, Auction design and so much more

Everyone acts like state and history growth are the end of the world but who is the home staker we are trying to save? I buy the ethos and roughly understand the economics for solving growth, but sorry I don't see an average joe risking 100k by running their own validator

Strong out of protocol intent standardization for more efficient UX while mitigating added network congestion seems like a very ripe design space Ive seen discussions about message structure, solver network architecture, execution proofs, etc Curious if anyone has any opinions

@mcutler at the @modular_summit highlighted the impact of optimized private transaction flow to gas instability. Basically validators using MEV-boost propose highly gas-utilized blocks, while others without it produce low-utilization blocks, swaying gas fees based on these extremes. Here are some unsolicited thoughts I have...

With 4337 Paymasters seem to have the best positioning in the information market... They get UserOp details the earliest just for the cost of gas(hopefully on L2). If private mempools arise, instead of searchers paying bundlers for access, paymasters could sell their information to subsidize the UserOps they pay for, maybe even make a profit?

When considering scenarios for private interactions the problem space feels like it almost always requires a trust assumption: 1. With someone you know: Requires high coordination for a secure channel and info exchange. 2. With a trusted stranger: Needs secure channels and a public trust system for automatic matching or personalized interaction criteria. Curious if anyone has any more??

Hey I created a dashboard to track farcaster streaks! It lets you: - Check users top channel streaks! - Check the number of streaks in different channels! - Select a channel to see users streaks within it! - Select a channel and a user to see their posts in that channel! Special thanks to @ispeaknerd.eth and /tabletop for being my default param! https://dune.com/blockboy32/farcaster-streaks
