The Annunciation : it is an Early Renaissance fresco by Fra Angelico in the Convent of San Marco in Florence, Italy. When Cosimo de' Medici rebuilt the convent, he commissioned Fra Angelico to decorate the walls with intricate frescos. The Annunciation depicts the Archangel Gabriel's announcement to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive and bear a son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World. it represent purity and the Holy Spirit.
