ghiblify

I, for one, am just having an absolute ball of a time that the world of Ghibli is converging with AI and crypto. 

Laputa: Castle in the Sky was my favorite movie growing up as a kid and is still my favorite Ghibli movie of all time. 

It was a few years after Vitalik had already introduced Ethereum to Earth, that I  learned the name of the crystal which powered Laputa, was actually translated in English as Aetherium.

The coincidence was just too uncanny! In terms of shock value, it just absolutely sent me.

There are so many parallels and symbolisms that can be drawn from the movie to our world right now: a world being transformed by advanced technologies. A world that will most likely in the future be powered significantly by Ethereum. 

Whether that’s a good or bad thing is to. be. determined. Kind of like how there are people in both camps when it comes to ghiblifying all the media right now. Either way, I am so blessed to be here for it.

so go ahead and keep ghiblifying away. I’m here for all of it
