Arthur Hayes: US unlikely to add more Bitcoin to its reserves Arthur Hayes, founder of the BitMEX exchange, believes the United States is unlikely to add more Bitcoin to its strategic reserve beyond the confiscated assets (about 200,000 Bitcoins) due to its high debt levels and public perception of Bitcoin. He said in an interview that it is difficult to imagine an elected politician publicly declaring that the government would print money to buy Bitcoin.
