Cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX is looking for a buyer and has engaged investment bank Broadhaven Capital Partners to facilitate the sale. Co-founded in 2014 by Arthur Hayes and others, BitMEX later faced charges for failing to implement effective anti-money laundering measures. Hayes resigned as CEO after criminal charges were filed against him in the U.S.
