Memecoins advance token distribution through non-technical actions as much as protocol tokens advance the technical architecture of blockchains. Both are valuable.

Agreed. Think last few years crypto got lost in creating 1000s of defi, lending, nft, blah-blah projects that had no value for token. Memecoins rather are the most 'honest' as they truly let buyers know the product simply is the meme + community. Best pass to the Howey test, ever.
