Pinterest was co-founded by Ben Silbermann, Paul Sciarra, and Evan Sharp. Ben Silbermann, born in 1982 in Iowa and a Yale graduate, worked at Google before starting Pinterest in 2010. The platform quickly grew into a popular visual discovery tool.
