My point is that we primates tend to think as belonging to an arbitrary unit of space (tribe, country, etc). We even wage wars over it.

But we’re also co-citizens of the same brief span of time, and we’re all equally subject to its rules (senescence, mortality, etc).

We over-index on our spatial differences and under-index on our temporal similarities

anyone interested to add sth to our talk? it's sooo fascinating. 
i think time matters to the ones understand it. in other world time exists to them. 
for years in my research, i've always believed that the mystery of brain and time can be solved 2gether.
