Actually, it makes me laugh because in crypto right now, what we call "shitposting" has become a job. You have to identify trends, feel comfortable saying nonsense to ride the wave, even if, in reality, you didn’t care about it at first. Marketers (of which I, unfortunately, am a part) are destroying the authenticity and spontaneity of shitposting. Founders are also contributing, but it’s unclear whether it’s out of interest, naivety, or pride. And since I recommend shitposting as part of personal branding, it’s hard for me to be too critical, because it works. That said, just because we promote something doesn't mean we can't criticize it.

My comment makes sense to the professionals reading me when they realize that it is itself the result of calculated intent. We saw the rise of influencer marketing, its pitfalls, and today, to me, it's in decline—at least in one of its forms. We could consider the current power of the effectiveness of shitposting as a personal branding tool as a new form of influencer marketing. The founder becomes their own influencer. But it's still too niche, and ultimately, it could fall under the category of the leader's starification, or just simple branding. It’s a bit of a Fordian choice. Disappointing, this return to the early 20th century by the global tech elite. I think we can do better than that, but oh well. Anyway, I just wanted to say that shitposting, at its core, is really shitposting. So keep shitposting. Let the fake shitposters fake shitpost. Shitposting shouldn't be about performance. If it is, that's fine. Let’s shitpost anyway. Personally, I can't be bothered not to shitpost while shitposting.
