We've heard the community and recognize the current tip allowances aren't ideal. We're developing a new incentive mechanism to reward long-term members and reduce farming. We'll iterate quickly to improve the next season, making token farming increasingly difficult. @cadillion and I are cooking.

The staking and lock mechanism carries too many risks. Of course, I trust the Degen project, but I may not want to lock my tokens on a platform just because I trust the project. 

Who will be responsible for the security of the tokens I lock? 

It's already risky enough to link wallets anywhere. And in addition to that, I don't want to transfer my tokens to somewhere. You might say, then you don't get an allowance. Fair. 

It's definitely a mechanism you should reconsider.

Tbh, I think the better way to do this is to raise the holding amount to be eligible for tipping to 50k $DEGEN and to be able to receive tips of 10k.

This is the easiest way to increase demand for holders. No one will give up their eligibility for tipping, and neither will give away their ability to receive tips. 

For sure, less bots interfering. And everyone will have his money safe in his wallet.
