💡how farcaster could achieve and monetize “brand badge” experience from twitter (company logo is shown next to display name) fc protocol could allow FID to mint “badge” NFTs, which have updatable media metadata, and can be transferred to team members badge NFTs expire yearly and cost 0.1 ETH to mint, with proceeds going into [best vehicle for fc ecosystem grant funding]

Ah, good idea, but I think many great users aren't financially free to pay this much ETH.

the use case imo is not really for individuals but for companies like rainbow to pay the fee in order to get a rainbow badge shown on all of rainbow team members farcaster accounts would make it easier for users to understand who is official rainbow team member or not

How do you make sure the badge isn’t faked? I could just upload a similar rainbow logo and pay 0.1ETH

hmm good point maybe this is what coprocessors are for? can something like a coprocessor run an image diff of a logo against all existing badge logos and deny it if its same as existing logo?

GQ, I've been scammed by an NFT with a similar name but switched emojis before. And remember, /rainbow, for example, is a team here, so I don't think the logo should be 1:1. And if your team is ten members, you will have to pay 1 ETH to get ten power badges. Is it worth it?
