I don't know much about the pendle, so I'm asking you a question. For example, if renzo, which one would benefit more: (1) buying a YT from the pendle, or (2) depositing directly in the renzo and selling the PT and then re-depositing with the money and selling the PT... repeatedly?

They both seem the same in that they only hold the YT, but in general, people seem to buy the YT. Is it because it's more cumbersome to do something like (2)?

They are theoretically the same. It would be more cumbersome to do the second when you already have a 2 sided marketplace to buy the yt from. Also in practical terms doing the second is more transactions and more fees for the same result.
