📝  A serene, turquoise and perfectly circular natural lake with a beach inside a volcano in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean 

Islet of Vila Franca do Campo, next to S. Miguel Island in the Azores Archipelagos, classified as a Nature Reserve, is a volcanic cone of stratified palagonitic tuffs from the Holocene age and is the result of an ancient submerged volcano. The exterior hillsides of the volcanic cone (mainly northwest and western cliffs) are under intensive wind and marine erosion, so this view may be a thing of the past in a few centuries.
