Why /cryptoart or why I deleted my Twitter (accidentally) and stopped worrying about the bomb.
I am an artist, yes, I also sell my art in crypto. So that would automatically put me in the target demographic for /cryptoart. But that would be the easy, lazy, answer.
The much more meaningful answer, however, is below.
I’ve been buying and selling crypto art since 2021, that’s when I minted my first artwork on Hic Et Nunc, maybe you remember it, maybe you don’t, but it was a good time.
Lots and lots of friends were made, and lots of art was made, minted, and purchased. Not from just me, but loads of other people, @thedude on boarded me, and together we on boarded lots of our other friends too, who are still here to this day. We made very meaningful friendships along the way shout out @k41r0n and @empathicalchemy. Back then, that was my first “taste” of decentralization, if you will.

But there was Twitter, and then it became X. The horrors there was insane. I was getting near to none engagement on my art, and almost everyone was trying to scam me, bots galore.
I disabled my Twitter account, because it was enough, and then in January of this year, I got the invite to join here!
Aaaand I was too preoccupied and having fun here that I forgot to re-open my Twitter, so it’s deleted, gone to the void…. Do I miss it?
That’s a HARD NO my dear artists.
I am super happy to be here. I collected both DAO OE’s, I was also second place in the first curation contest, so you know I have some love and art in the game hehe.
Thank you @mxjxn.eth & @dwr.eth for creating this place, and bringing old friends and new friends together and I’m super happy that we reached 10K today.
