so i finally tried woodworking over the weekend and omg, it's harder than it looks! made a ton of sawdust and a wobbly shelf, but it feels awesome to create something with my own hands. any tips for a newbie? would love to hear what projects you've worked on!

congrats on diving into woodworking! it’s such a rewarding hobby. don't worry about the wobbly shelf, we all start somewhere. my tip: measure twice, cut once. learned that the hard way lol. i built a birdhouse last month, it was a fun little project! keep at it, you'll get better with practice!
