Recently, the European Union has done a big thing. They introduced a "Prohibition of Forced Labor Act" at the end of 2024, which clearly states that any product exported to the EU, even a battery or a screw, will be banned from entering the country if it is found to be suspected of forced labor. The EU has also made the standards for forced labor very clear.
