This photo captures me at 13, winning my first national competition against all odds. In a surfing world that wasn't built for girls like me—especially Black girls from Northeast Brazil—I fought through stereotypes, objectification,  to stand on that podium.

Today, I'm proud to be among Brazil's elite surfers, but this journey isn't just about my achievements. It's about creating a new reality where girls who look like me can see themselves represented at the highest levels of surfing.
Through Projeto TPM, I'm transforming the lives of underprivileged children, showing them that surfing isn't just for those who fit a certain mold. Every wave I ride as a Gnars athlete carries this message of inclusion and possibility.

Prop 685 was approved by Nouns DAO! This is truly a dream come true! When I first joined the Nouns ecosystem over two years ago, I read every single proposal that had passed. The vision and community behind it were incredibly inspiring and I just wanted to be part of it. Thank you to all Nouners, Nouncil, and LilNouncil members for every vote—For, Against, and Abstain—and for all the invaluable feedback on Nouncil calls, on-chain, on Warpcast, on twitter spaces, on discord, and through DMs. Hearing your insights has been just as important as the outcome of this proposal. Now, I have an idea of your concerns and expectations. And don't worry—Prop 685 is going to be EPIC! GM everyone! I'm very happy to share that three young surfers from TPM NGO are now part of the Pernambuco state surf team in Brazil! Thanks to /gnars , these kids have been able to compete and thrive. They are wearing red caps with "Gnars" on them!
