Realized yesterday I forgot to post what I shipped on /warpcast this week (I was working). - shipped more data usage improvements such as not auto-animating GIFs and disabling OTA updates on cellular data. The rest of the week I've been working on something which isn't ready to ship.

Based on this, Explore seems to have a hyper-optimized user acquisition flow, holding the user's hand along the way. As usual with Nikita's apps, they are designed for virality and acquisition but still remains to be see whether there will be retention. In this case since it just extends iMessage, which already has the user retained and the entire social graph in there, it's different than a new app without muscle memory and cold start problem. https://x.com/thomasschulzz/status/1879240978244289000

You can now disable OTA updates when using cellular data (on by default). This should help reduce data usage of your cellular data plan. Especially since we push updates regularly. If you disable this, be sure to use Warpcast on Wi-Fi to get OTA updates.

It'd be great if @anonworld could attest to my ownership of assets of any wallet I already verified with my Farcaster account without me having to connect it and verify it with @anonworld again. I know nothing about how the zk proofs work so no clue about feasibility. Just know it'd be a much better user experience.

As a fast follow, GIFs won't animate when data savings is on, you'll have to tap them for them to animate. It'll only work for GIFs uploaded since Friday evening LA time.
