Today, for the first time in my life, I had the opportunity to attend an ice hockey match! HC Davos vs EHC Kloten from the National League of /switzerland 🇨🇭 Wow! That was fun! And I was so lucky to have the full show with overtime and penalties included 😅 Thanks to my nephews who play in the youth teams of the Davos club I have discovered a new world! 🤩

Tomorrow we have 2 cool races on the some day and on two continents! On the American continent... The second of the Canadian classics 🇨🇦, the Grand Prix de Montréal. PoGi against the peloton! The Grand Prix of Quebec, the first of the Canadian races, took place yesterday with a circuit that is always playful but not so hard that it didn't end in a bunch sprint, which was won by Michael Matthews. And on the European continent we have the Road European Championships 🇪🇺 Probably another race that will be decided in a peloton sprint, in Limburg, Belgium... that is if Mathieu van der Poel doesn't stop it with one of his performances. The World Championships in Zurich are getting closer and closer... and we have several riders fine tuning their form for these championships, and proof of this is Marc Hirschi with his 3 consecutive victories this week 🤓

The ultimate bike helmet! No more excuses for not wearing a helmet (Perhaps the price)😅 and no more space problems when traveling with it but not wearing it Plus, it seems to have pretty good aerodynamic performance too! I love it! I want one! Anyone here seen one of these before?

Happy to see how the first farcaster fridays around the world have been going! Unfortunately this time got me on the road and the nearest one was about 400km away 😅 but I've been watching the events from the URL barrier this time 😊 Hopefully next time I'll be closer to any of the events or even have the time to set up my own wherever I am! The Vuelta 🇪🇸 2024 has come to an end, after a final TT stage through the streets of my home town, Madrid, with the victory of Stefan Küng 🇨🇭 , his first victory in a Grand Tour and which will most likely give him an extra boost of confidence ahead of the upcoming World Championships in his home country. The podium remained unchanged on the final day as follows: 🥇 Primož Roglič 🇸🇮 🥈 Ben O'Connor 🇦🇺 🥉 Enric Mas 🇪🇸 It has been a very exciting edition and proof of this is that until yesterday's stage the top 10 including the final winner was in suspense, also the classification of the young riders or the grand prix of the mountain.

The Vuelta 🇪🇸 status Since yesterday, Primož Roglič is wearing the red jersey again, which he got after an incredible final climb to Picón Blanco that very few riders in the world can achieve with those watts numbers. Aussie Ben O'Connor's dream of winning his first grand tour looks set to remain just a dream unless he pulls off a fabulous performance today. Today is the queen stage of La Vuelta and for many the last chance to shine, I hope Sepp Kuss will be one of them, I'm sure he's motivated to make his mark. I also think that Marc Soler is going to give us one of his “classic” performances, as he has been in great form these weeks, as well as the riders of the Pro Tour team, Kern Pharma. This young team is putting more than one World Tour team to shame. The race is on!

Rye bread with butter 😋 Apparently a simple combo, but this one in particular is very special, as this rye bread is baked underground in a geothermal area and the butter is made with fresh cream from Icelandic grass-fed cows. Straight to the top of the combos! 🔝 @greg maybe you could include this type of bread in your next batch 😉 I can share the recipe!

The Tour 🇪🇸 status We reach the end of the second week with an epic stage finish! The climb to Pajares Pass with the extra section of almost 3 kilometres of scratched concrete on the Cuitu Negru will make the riders squirm and we may even see some of them setting their feet on the ground. All eyes on Primož once again although it would be great to see a fight between 3 or 4 GC riders in the tightness of the final road today. Mas, Landa, maybe Kuss comes back… Tomorrow there will be a rest day and then it's on to the last week of the race, with more heart-stopping stages. Whoever comes out with the red jersey after today's stage could have the Vuelta victory almost in the pocket.
