Great observation @0xmert. Rewarding short term greedy founders and ideas in crypto leads to zero sum games. Bold ideas that grow the pie require long term greedy founders and funders. An additional phenomenon is that attention is squeezed and monetizable in crypto: concentrated, liquid attention bubbles that have short half lives (metas). This exacerbates short term thinking. I’ve seen long term builders get jaded and discouraged when there’s little external feedback for their work trying to grow the pie, and seeing others leaning into short term greed get rewarded disproportionally https://x.com/0xmert_/status/1832692974037385222?s=46&t=xfgrabNclX-9Oyf82lknwA
