In school, we had a single TT table. Every games class, some 30 of us would crowd around the TT table playing doubles. Rules were simple- 1. Winners continue to play 2. Losers keep shuffling out Since we just had an hour a week to play it led to everyone over optimizing to win by playing conservatively. Risk appetite to play smashes was dead. Everyone just kept playing chop shots. Except for this one dude, Abhinav who'd keep smashing every single shot he got to take. 99% of which he'd miss. Naturally, nobody wanted to partner with him because that'd lead to them losing and getting shuffled out. Until one day, when Abhinav's smashes started making contact. The rest of us were so familiar with the defensive game that not only did we not know how to hit smashes, we did't even know how to stop them. For months, it was just plain Abhinav's table while all of us slowly learned how to play and defend properly.

Planned a get together of based builders in Bangalore. Rules- no shop talk, get to know people beyond their work Some fun takes- 1. Basmati rice is overhyped and has a fake smell. People should try Vishnubhoj. 2. Mulki has a better surfing school for beginners than Varkala and is just 8-10 hours from Bangalore 3. Situationships are out. Dating is draining. 4. Nobody cares about AI agents and the AGI future outside of Twitter. Folks one off use Chat GPT. 5. Bumrah is goated. 6. All addictive things start off as cringe- reels, influencers, padel/pickleball. Good session. Great people. Should do more of these no-shop talk scenes!

‘Play long term games with long term people.’ Farcaster is an excellent place for that. Most people I’ve met here have been obsessed with ideas and finding ways to materialize them. Proxy even before Clanker was obsessed with ideas and people, and finding ways to bring them together.

Last year, @jessepollak told me this idea of taking builders viral. Rationale was simple: > Base wins if builders and founders building on base win > Founders on base will win if they get users and build sustainable businesses > Users will come if they get to feel the onchain economy being 10x better than current solutions Approach, get outside of current echo chambers and start educating and onboarding. What's the fastest way to educate and oboard? To go viral. How to go viral? > Create short form video content > Show why onchain matters > Build distribution loops > Fund and accelerate growth of founders focused on solving for onchain distribution Jesse, himself, started going on the streets onboarding day to day folks in fun ways. Kept doing it despite the flak he got from 'elite' CT crowds. And now, a whole wave of creators are out there onboarding people with short form video content. This is the year we take builders viral. And it will take a village to do that.

Farcaster continues to make everyone here money. So many @callusfbi builders got a large VVV drop because: 1. They were onchain and got Degen tips here on Farcaster 2. They explored Venice and had been using it since late August 3. They had been launching tokens and playing around with Clanker and Virtuals
