There’s a sweet spot between vibe coding & laser focus “don’t fuck this up” development that I love the pace of now. Not sure what it's called beyond a joy. Thank you Cursor. Yesterday I upgraded the Footy App to better take advantage of the notification system @gabedev.eth built. It also adds the ability to create & maintain leagues, teams, add scores & more. Feels like cheating when the data isn't onchain nor decentralized but my curiosity about 402x protocol & MCP got the best of me. A handful of apis & open codebase will have to do for now. Will merge after the holiday break here in the states. This is will make it easier for anyone to create fantasy games & will eventually take advantage of the Defifa contracts for prediction games. Is it a feature if you can get it anywhere? “Me too” = follower. (Except Weinstein—then it meant something else 😢) Some features are just the ante, sure. But most? They’re a tax. A toll you pay for being late, wrong, or too safe. You ship it thinking it’s novel, turns out it’s just another checkbox And if you’re checking boxes, you’re building someone else’s product. Don’t mind me vertical video has me scratching my head for serval reasons. Imagine building a slot machine in someone else’s casino. You might get eyes, but you’ll never own the game. Distribution is said to be the FC product & Attribution the protocol. If you’re not shifting power w your app, you’re styling a coffin someone else is going to put you in. ⏳💜✌️

You don’t have to give up control to build collective ‘ownership’. A small shift in mindset: share upside via revenue, not equity. Uniswap is a great protocol but a bad model for projects that actually care about decentralization.

How is AI changing human behavior? A few observations & questions - No one wants to ask a question AI can answer even complex, domain-specific queries. Is this the death of expertise? Is real-time exchange dying? Where does collaboration fit? - The satisfaction of solving something feels diminished - Delaying gratification is harder now. Slow mode? Pay more?
