We purchased two 20kg (44lbs) sacks of kibble and one 25kg (55lbs) sack of rice for a local animal shelter that is struggling to care for its rescued animals, many of whom were strays and have been abandoned or abused.. The shelter is currently caring for 53 dogs, 50 cats, and 20 puppies. For transparency, we’ve attached the receipt for the purchase. Huge thanks to /flows and /nouns for sponsoring! ⌐◨-◨

Beach Clean-Up with GEM—Episode 3! ⌐◨-◨ 🏖️ In this 1-minute video, we have collected 30 kg of trash! Surprisingly, there were a lot of shoes this time. We had 4 volunteers, or 7 if you count the dogs 🐕 It took about 1 hour and 30 minutes and we were exhausted when we went home, but at least the beach is clean for people to enjoy 💛 @flowit @drgonzo 📍 Coco Beach, Philippines 🇵🇭 🗑️ 30 kg / 66 lbs of trash

Here's the design I've commissioned @syrupynut to do for the recycled drums that will be used as trash bins inside the park. 🗑️ ♻️ I've also hired a painter to paint them, and he said it will take 7–14 days to finish 👨‍🎨 ⌐◨-◨ @drgonzo

Beach Clean-Up with GEM—Episode 2! ⌐◨-◨ 🏖️ Here’s a quick 2-minute recap of our beach clean-up! GM! ⌐◨-◨ So the other day I withdrew 40 dollars or 2,270 PHP to purchase 1 sack of dog kibble as well as buying an anti-rabies vaccine for a child who got accidentally bitten by a dog after it got startled because the child was too close. Even though the dog is usually very kind, it might have felt threatened by the child. Although the dog doesn't have rabies, it's better to be safe and take precautions. 🐶

The 4th Nounish Meetup was a success, with the theme "Youth United for Cleaning Streets & Bright Futures" ♻️🧹 We had 10 awesome youth volunteers, and by the end of the day, we had filled 8 sacks of trash and made sure everything was properly disposed of ⌐◨-◨ After the cleanup, we treated everyone to their favorite meals as a way to say thank you for their effort and dedication 🍽️❤️ Unfortunately, some builders couldn’t make it due to busy schedules, but we were grateful to have @swagittarius around and she shared some updates about her grant 👀 Thank you /flows for sponsoring our monthly meet ups and we're already looking forward for our 5t this month 💗
