I can't seem to be convinced by proponents of Tailwind. Sure, it's easier to maintain CSS with the utility-first approach, but it makes for terribly unreadable code. Trading off readability for writeability is a hard sell. You read orders of magnitude more code than you write it.

The aversion to permissioned arrangements does a lot of harm in the DAO space. Voting does not work well for every kind of decision Civilization was built on top of trustful assumptions. As long as we make sure trusted roles are not capturable like in the status quo, we will be much better off relying on them.

One thing that hinders prop boldness (and quality) is the fact that every nouner votes on every prop. That way, bold props have to be diluted out to cater to voters with every kind of background. I think having domain-specific governance pods would do wonders for Nouns. It would favor prop depth instead of breadth.

On the burn mechanism: It's risky, and bold. Feels nounish However, it should be accompanied by more experimentation on the governance side to make sure the expending is channeled into high-quality props.

Unexplored, low-hanging design space on governance UIs: FrontMatter metadata on the proposal markdown description. Could link to related props, list contributor wallets, etc No contract changes required, and easy enough for existing UIs to ignore it when parsing the markdown if they don't want to support it.

Nouns & Frowns can hopefully collaborate in the future, provided the latter manages to maintain critical mass with rage-quit. Each DAO vision has its tradeoffs, and by collaborating, they can harness the best aspects of each other. There's also space for positive sum competition if there are enough frowners up for it.
