It’s amazing how much people over estimate what tech can do, while under appreciating how insane it is that I just installed a version of JDK in 15 seconds and I can now move onto the next task instead being at this step for the next week

You can’t call it rugging anymore, it not a surprise, it’s a shrug. You’ve been shrugged

I guess you have to buy someone warps to invite them? I just want to pass them a link I don’t want to buy them a membership, or I would if I didn’t first have to go buy warps

I love when my new MacBook decides to stop recognizing external monitors, just like every previous model I’ve ever had does, love that consistency

I think they need to add a code volume generation penalty to cursor, they need to stop worrying about safety alignment and focus more on utility alignment. The ai should consider lines of code a liability and then maybe it’ll start reusing the utilities already present instead of creating 10 new ones

If you built a brand on a Chinese app, that’s on you…and hilariously stupid tbh.

More graph dbs should be used for managing data relationships, you increase information compression losslessness is quite manageable Someone tell me why I’m wrong so I can find more ways to think through this, right now I’m stuck believing that SQL is stupid in comparison and we should just use graphs more

Make money first; then live life is not equivariant with live life, then make money No judgement, I don’t know which one’s better if there is a better, Sahil speaks as if there is a better direction but seems more like a grassed is always greener thought https://open.spotify.com/episode/6MjI0cpOX5zkHUCM2GKHSY?si=f3OHVDwAT0qaRr47xdx9yQ&context=spotify%3Aplaylist%3A37i9dQZF1FgnTBfUlzkeKt

How about combining a AI with a police scanner to give you real time updates as to your potential proximity to a speed trap

2nd impressive google maps fail today. First search was for “organic eggs breakfast” which took me to a cafe with 4.9 rating that only sold pastries, and now this. There is no fuel here

What if the only way someone could call you was my texting you first a request for your current number, could be automated, you just get to approve it or deny it first. Kinda like a knock on the door, you have an option

I think UAPs are more likely to be us time traveling than aliens. I believe I first heard Eric Weinstein say this. I don’t research this stuff at all, just going on all the swirling commentary. The reason I think this is because I think we might be more tied to this planet than we realize and the time it will take for us to technologically advance enough to understand how to make us…wireless. Taking into consideration Nick Lanes assertion in The Vital Question that multicellular life appears to be incredibly rare, then aliens, according to my guessing, would also likely be tied to their place of origin We routinely underestimate how much middleware is missing from a new tech space, making humans wireless from a planet we don’t yet realized we’re wired into sounds like a pretty big innovation space, which to me helps explains Fermi paradox as well. We don’t see them yet because there’s still a million years of innovation left to uncover and time travel might come before being wireless

Learn to recognize isomorphic debates so you can eliminate them. It’s funny to realize you’re all saying the same thing differently, but it’s better to not lose the time at all
