Was clearing out some stuff and I found a little bit of cash and a necklace from my late grandma. Felt sentimental today and protected by her. In Lao culture (one part of where I’m from) the dead person prepares funeral arrangements in advance by giving cash to the attendees. It’s to help with transportation, organizing the funeral, etc. I remembered I had the necklace but not the cash, and that was a nice reminder that she still wants to take care of me even in the afterlife.

I made a marijuana scented candle. Yes I know that’s crazy but I wanted to see if I could! Smells just like fresh bud and has that musk. Smells better than mj if I’m gonna be honest. Some tweaks are needed as it’s a bit too light but I am impressed.

I got confronted today by a homeless person ☹️ She thought I was taking photos or videos of her (I wasn’t obviously) and she was insisting that I was. I opened up my photos app to show her that I wasn’t. Then she started crying and told me one of her friends died today. I told her I was very sorry to hear that and for her to have a good day and she left. I really felt like my psych degree came in handy for de escalating that

My dad took me on a shopping spree to dollarama 🤩 It was a little nostalgic because growing up we didn’t have much, so we did a lot of our errands at dollarama. My parents occasionally bought me little knickknacks so I would love going to dollarama when I was a kid. Now the haul is all household items 🤣
