I just had a flash vision of a retail pop up for /humankind. It was beautiful. But it made me deeply uncomfortable, if I had to be honest. Sometimes I have visions about the company that I feel I have an obligation to manifest into reality. The name came to me in a dream and so did the idea. It was my calling. Running /humankind sometimes feels like a bullet train I can’t get off of, and it’s accelerating at a pace that just keeps getting faster. And I get more and more uncomfortable. It permeates my subconscious.

Have been smelling a lot of candles this trip since perfume is popular here. I have never been so disgusted with the smell and quality of most of them .. haven’t even found a candle I genuinely liked..

Things I appreciated today: - I met another girl also traveling solo and we took soooo many pics of eachother - a hustler tried to offer to take pics of me (he had his own camera) I said no. then he went to this other couple and asked them and the guy proposed to her! the hustler did not hustle that couple tho and took pretty good photos which was nice - I got free printed photos of myself next to the Eiffel Tower! I wanted to pay this girl but I didn’t have the cash on me. She gave them to me for free ☺️ - drank a nice hot chocolate people watching today - tried McDonald’s fries with fondue - caught all the right subways at all the right times - saved a lot of money by not buying impulsively - saw a ginormous plushie of my favourite character

I love people with service jobs who are friendly and do their job well. Service jobs are quite tough, so when I have the opportunity to I always fill out the survey at the end or call the shop and let their boss know they did a good job. When I was working a service job I had a few customers like this and honestly it always saved my ass when it came to performance reviews or when I had a shitty customer!
