a lot of ideation happens internally for me, visualizing in my mind’s eye most often after that, I take it to the iPad and Pencil if I’m trying to sketch something out and experiment with shapes

guess i missed this one yesterday.. i used to sketch as a child, a whole lot, my grandma taught drawing/sketching at the U of Michigan, and i guess it ran in the fam at a certain point, we started getting computers at home, and where design really clicked for me was when i decided I wanted to make a clothing line somewhere around the age of 12-13, i would come home from school everyday to jump on the computer and use Microsoft Image Composer to design my imaginary t-shirt co graphics i called it Primary clothing, and i wanted to use a motif based on the primary color diagram 🥲

for many workflows i dont have the inbuilt maintenance routine running to name layers very often if at all when i'm using illustrator or photoshop most times, even though I may explicitly name some objects or layers, the majority go unnamed or belong to a named grouping however, i always name layers in C4D

hi, im @bias and im a technologist and lifelong autodidact + designgineer i discovered Farcaster in early 2022, while eager searching for a replacement for ty0watter, i dm'd dwr on twatter and got my invite fairly quickly. my top 3 design career highlights: 1. freely exploring my own brand ideas and experiments 2. landing a gig at Apple 3. i don't really have another highlight at the moment :D currently working on bringing my @antimeme work to life, incubated out of the @punk grindset some design work in the wild that has inspired me this month would be the TYPEONE magazine: it's been a thing for a little while now, but recently I decided to try and collect all the issues and they're pretty damn inspiring very interesting mags, I really enjoy them
