when I check out a new channel to browse for interesting content, I'd like to be able to see top content from the last 7/30d rather than the default feed, which is often lower quality (but more recent).

the EF seems to have aimed for credible neutrality of distribution which is an even higher bar to hold yourself to than credible neutrality of access. the problem is it's so hard to do, that it resulted in giving nobody distribution, which is probably worse. credible neutrality of distribution is still a hard & unsolved problem

VVV feels entirely priced based on who launched it - 1.5B FDV for off the shelf LLMs running on an infra provider? there's no new privacy or LLM tech there besides them promising to not store your data. Kinda the definition of a commodity - what network effects beyond the token holders being more aligned accrue to it?
