Clickety Clank. About 2 weeks ago @proxystudio.eth launched a curious bot by the name of @clanker. Suddenly, with a few keystrokes the autonomous agent could launch a token for Farcasters - on Base, tradable on Uniswap, with built-in liquidity - instantly (and for free)! The impetus for proxy & co. to try such an endeavour likely stems from the belief that Base could do it better than Solana if we tried; Solana has the volume and dominates the Memecoin Universe, but the chain of events that have happened on Farcaster this year (Degen, etc) may have reinforced the belief in this community. Within two weeks that belief has taken hold - from AI Agent Coins to Memecoins - & Clanker has created a bridge between Solana's pumpfun and Base's own ecosystem of $Clankers. We have seen complaints from some here about the lack of 'meme coin culture' vs. Solana, and now the script is starting to flip. The meta is a little bit manic (and controversial for some), but in this market it seems to be on the mark. 🎯
