gm, how soon will the email sign up option be available, would have loved to use it to rsvp my event on Thursday, but the gas fees would hinder registration, since it is a free event for students.

I'd love to work on it, but it's unlikely to be ready before end of the bounty period. First prio is to get more feedback on the registration/staking mechanisms

The goal of Show Up is to reduce no shows by requesting a deposit fee. I suggest a small $5-10 fee. Or if you want to keep it completely free, at minimum people would need to pay a gas fee. This ensures skin in the game and is actually intentional. Deposits are returned when attending the event

So Show Up might not be the right option for you, as I understand you want to keep it open/free and accessible.

I'm thinking about using reputation based mechanisms to RSVP (instead of financial), but this is still just in idea phase 😅
