Wallet browsers are basically a symptom of the webapp era of crypto. Smart wallets mean that we are trending towards apps with wallets, instead of needing a wallet for all apps. Less convinced by their need now and in the long term. Easier to swipe between apps on a phone than to bounce between websites in a browser.

the important problem to solve is that you can have one wallet that you can carry between mobile apps like you do between website, minimizing fragmentation.

I don’t like Apps… would prefer a browser, specially on tablets or laptops. Don’t wanna be opening and closing apps all the time.

Apps with wallet is exactly where the trend is going, users are trained to log in per app. Not sure if having global wallets is that useful to most users. Users just want to get in and start using products. That's how we use most of the internet works and likely how it'll continue. Smart wallets help with UX, specifically paying gas / batching txn's, its the 2 main features app devs need.

Dawn Wallet is great. It's a mobile extension wallet that lives on Safari (only on iOS afaik) and you can connect to any web app as it injects through Metamask

Yeah I wish that the Web3 experience was easier on mobile browsers instead of needing a browser in the wallet app. Mobile browsers always open any hyperlink so if I see a hyperlink to a dapp then I have to either deal with the bad experience of the mobile browser or copy the link into my wallet
