Excited to see the encrypted group chat based on @xmtp and MLS (Messaging Layer Security) finally here. 

I like what Shane once said: “Decentralized messaging is coming to be the only path forward as Centralized messaging apps continue to change their rules.”

That’s why XMTP is promising for future adoption.

@depatchedmode I obviously have a lot of questions for you that I haven’t had a chance to connect with you on yet, but a nagging one is why XMTP for chat/email hasn’t taken off. That feels like a low risk, high value opportunity for global mainstream blockchain adoption.
