Living in a world of investments, I often wonder—can I truly be happy? The thrill of watching numbers rise and the anxiety of seeing them fall are part of my daily life. It feels like I'm constantly running, chasing something that never quite feels within reach. Even when I hit a target or make a profit, the satisfaction is fleeting, replaced quickly by the next goal or the fear of losing what I’ve gained. Sometimes, I question what all this is for. Am I investing for security, for freedom, or simply because it's what I’ve been taught to do? The stress that comes with it often overshadows the joy. I find myself checking numbers instead of enjoying time with loved ones, planning for the future instead of living in the present. There are moments when I envy people who live simpler lives, free from the constant pull of charts and market updates. I wonder if they experience a kind of happiness I’m missing—one that's not tied to outcomes or profits.

One of my family’s core values is humility. This results in two things: 1. We want our work to speak for itself, so we’re driven to always do our best work (feature) 2. We don’t want to speak about our work, so we’re bad at selling ourselves (bug) The latter is particularly dangerous when we do need to sell ourselves, which is every time an opportunity presents itself. I was talking to @keccers.eth in a full what-have-I-ever-done-that’s-moved-the-needle spiral when she asked me to send her my CV. “It’s just a CV,” I said. "Bullet points and numbers." This morning, she sends me a 15 min podcast of a guy and a girl analyzing me: my character, my values, my accomplishments, my potential. “I popped your CV into NotebookLM and gave it one instruction: tell me what kind of person ted is,” she said. It was critical, accurate, grounded, and bullish. Two AI-generated voices selling me TO ME. What the fuck. This type of collaborative AI (AI with friends) is unbeatable. Same goes for crypto.

some of the most interesting content on reddit is often from throwaway or pseudonym accounts which are essentially “anon” to all other users: - advice posts for sensitive situations or most ask men/women posts, like what’s the best thing your ex did in bed - AITAH - NoStupidQuestions - confessions this content digs at the complexity of human nature, often with unfiltered, authentic perspectives, that appeals to millions of users. this type of content on the anon accounts doesn’t get good engagement (and none seems to have graduated to the X account), perhaps due to public likes or the flat nature of reply threads where it seems like only one person is conversing. instead, the majority of content that breaks through is the same content that’d break through without anon accounts: memes, shills, and dunks. and because anon is still relatively small, the breakthrough content risks reading as in-group. excited to watch these projects continue to iterate because i see it as a big, big opportunity.
