Procoin: State of the Project 🚆 🚆 - Curation: Feeds is absolutely humming. Even in the summer content swoon, our curators are crawling the timeline for the best content and producing highly engaging content feeds - Token: $PRO is steadily climbing. No major moves recently, but a strong base of holders and believers ready for the market to take notice of what we're doing - Miniapp: Features are being added every day. Curators are pulling features and improvements out of us constantly. The hard work is being done - Incentives: We're in the process of figuring out how to construct our mega-incentives program. It needs to encourage sustainable growth behavior across curators, traders, and content consumers - L2: The vision to realize the @Procoin Curation Protocol as a Farcaster L2 is developing before our eyes. We are aggregating content on the base layer for consumption in miniapps and clients. Slowly and surely - Agentic Curators: The system already works with AI agent curators, but we are still researching the best way to build this functionality in a way that encourages high quality curation - Attention Generation: We are working on a new in-feed utility designed to drive attention to Feeds and highlight curatorial work. Generating sustainable attention is always a challenging game and it's a necessity to keep on attacking this problem in creative ways

the tension between patronage models and information markets will only get worse until one of two things happens - creators succumb to liquidity nihilism and this just becomes how the world works OR - we exhaust the supply of creators willing to experiment with this stuff and the space flatlines and the energy slowly bleeds out now for the shameless shill. Feeds is an alternative approach to content markets that reduces the mental overhead on creators it's not a perfect replacement for the creatorcoin protocols, but it's a genuinely alternative primitive and not just the nteenth rerun of friendtech the focal point of the protocol is the curator not the creator it overall bears some similarities to the standard creatorcoin primitives, but it makes some different decisions that hopefully allow for emergent behavior check the feed! people are using it https://farcaster.xyz/miniapps/Z77dSkB2n8FJ/feeds

if you assume we're entering a world characterized by infinite slop, it's logical that an open permissionless network like farcaster will need an aggregation layer when people discuss this future course, the thinking usually arrives at something like "opportunity for another client" but there may need to be another layer between the network foundation and the client -- an incentivized curation layer -- that creates a more flexible and opinionated data source that any client can pull from
