slowly but surely moving my system towards rust (and wasm, once this is more available) So far I use: - coreutils - wezterm - gitui - du - exa probably a couple more I'm not aware of. Tried rio as terminal, but didn't quite like it.

Rust has an open issue since 2016 to cargo build with only dependencies so that Docker builds don't take 30 minutes every clip. In Deuteronomy the Israelites took 40 years to complete what should have been an 11-day journey to the Promised Land. I see parallels here. https://github.com/rust-lang/cargo/issues/2644

In general, it's helpful to think about an `Option` as container with 0 or 1 elements and a `Result` as a container with exactly 1 element where the contained type is a sum type.

Results and options can be difficult to compose. Fortunately the `transpose` method makes this a breeze. E.g. if you're mapping over an option and need to return a result, you can just call transpose on the `Option<Result>` returned by `map` and propagate the error from the outer scope with `?`.
