Marketing is just like weight loss (or exercising) People will try the most obscure diets, but then you ask them "are you counting calories" they'll go "oh no I don't believe in that" Cover your bases, put in the miles, then think about strategy all you want Yes I am talking about myself

Sometimes I get carried away with the need to make it all make sense visually This first iteration of my frame for /mememania used a Gameboy Classic mockup (link in the following cast) with a bunch of easter eggs like "an upcoming Farcaster frame" in the top right, all in the right fonts The mockup itself was extremely well made but as we all know the GBClassic didn't have the best screen :) so the end result was pleasing but not as attention-grabbing as it should have been Client feedback is valuable to get out of your own way in cases like this: the switch to a GB Color was the right choice You can check it out on /mememania https://frames.neynar.com/f/42287ed9/0643db0f

I was surprised by the speed I was able to make neynar.com/nfs Admittedly I was a bit afraid at the task, because it wasn't just about making a landing page for /nfs but also establishing its brand and basically inventing a visual language for it The bifrost is made of a single slim rectangle that cycles through 14 variants, each filled with a simple 2- or 3-point linear gradient. These are then assembled in tiles, which in turn use /framer's new 3D transforms to achieve the perspective you see. When you load the page, each tile appears 0.1 seconds after the other, so the bridge comes towards you at speed. It's pretty cool, but again, it's literally a bunch of rectangles. Virgil Abloh said we should design the room; neynar.com established space as an environment. The bifrost is a magical bridge through space.
