The thread unfolding underneath the cast below has so many great takeaways regarding protocol design and protocol communication. The true value of Farcaster is hidden in those threads were the few truly curious engage to explore new ideas together. In particular, we explain Uvio's dual-step decision making process. I realize that everyone I talk to about information markets has the same first emotional reaction: token weighted voting does not work. Yes, you are right, and that is also why Uvio is not doing token weighted voting. On Uvio Information Markets you stake on opinions and vote on real outcomes, that is why it is dual-step. This is not Futarchy, because Uvio actually works. I would love to ask every mechanism designer here to find a flaw in Uvio's dual-step decision making process. I dare you with all the love in my heart!
