I think it's just about gamifying it then—as in there needs to be a unique experience for them once they join. I question how well the "group chat + wallet in a box" app would work, but then again who knows lol.

Some ideas:
- a 33bits as a consumer app. create your group account, start casting together anonymously, have a private encrypted chat where you joke about what the group account is saying.
- a super slick consumer app / social version of poly market. 
- a consumer app version of a hedge fund where the others can dog on the performance of the fund manager, take turns, post about trades, etc.

Idea: onchain raffle — not lottery, raffle. One per week, posted by a farcaster account. Each one is an incredible collab with another brand. Comes with a one-of-a-kind NFT as well as a physical item mailed to you if you win.

You enter the raffle by buying tickets onchain. Price of each ticket is on a double bonding curve — a) how many tickets others have bought and b) how many you've already bought. Each ticket has an equal chance of winning.
