Let me tell you a story from Eric Emmanuel Schmitt:
"A few small insects lived in a pond, underwater...
They were always afraid of getting out of the water and dying; one day, one of them, following an inner call, started climbing up a grass stalk, all shouting that death was the only thing that would come to him, because every insect that had gone out had not returned...!
When the insect reached the surface of the water, the sunlight caressed its tired body and, exhausted from exhaustion, it fell asleep on the leaf of that plant.
When it woke up, it had turned into a dragonfly; the feeling of flying was its reward for climbing up.
The dragonfly began to fly above the pond, and flying gave it such pleasure that it could not be compared to living in the water; it decided to go back and tell its friends that no one dies on those stalks, but it could not enter the water because it had turned into another being...!"
